Mission
To empower individuals with essential life-saving skills and nurture a passion for swimming as a sport.
The official national governing body for aquatics in Brunei Darussalam — proudly affiliated with World Aquatics, the Asian Swimming Federation, and the Southeast Asia Swimming Federation.
Two pillars guide every decision we make — from grassroots learn-to-swim programmes to elite international representation.
To empower individuals with essential life-saving skills and nurture a passion for swimming as a sport.
To be the driving force in Brunei's aquatic community — fostering a nation of skilled swimmers, nurturing champions, and creating a safer, healthier society.
The Brunei Amateur Swimming Association was founded on 30 March 1970. In 2025, the organisation evolved its identity to Brunei Aquatics — reflecting our broader stewardship across all aquatic disciplines.
We are a proud member of:
Promote competitive and learn-to-swim programmes nationwide.
Develop springboard and platform diving talent.
Foster the team game across age groups.
Champion creativity, technique and athleticism in the water.
